Dreamora is an AI-assisted dream journal and reflection app. It lets you record dreams, have guided conversations about them, receive generated interpretations, and discover recurring themes through Insights created from complete groups of seven dreams. Dreamora is intended for personal reflection and general wellness. It is not a medical, mental-health, diagnostic, or emergency service.
Information we collect
Account information
When you continue with Google, we receive a verified Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image when available. Google provides an identity token so we can authenticate you; Dreamora does not receive or store your Google password.
Profile and preference information
You may provide your name, date of birth and age, gender, zodiac sign, current mood, reflection goal, locale, time zone, profile image, selfie, and notification preferences. Dreamora is designed for users aged 13 and older.
Dream and conversation content
We store the dreams, titles, chat messages, interpretations, recurring symbols, reflection questions, and saved Insights you create or receive. If you choose to upload an image or document, we also process the file and basic file details needed to store and display it.
Device and usage information
We may collect your push-notification token, device platform, daily chat usage, account-plan status, notification delivery records, and timestamps related to account and app activity. Dreamora uses your device time zone for daily limits and reminders. We do not request precise device location, contacts, call logs, or your Google password.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account and keep your Dreamora data available across sessions.
- Save and organize dreams, conversations, interpretations, and Insights.
- Generate AI-assisted replies, dream interpretations, classifications, titles, and pattern summaries.
- Personalize the experience using the profile details and preferences you choose to provide.
- Send dream reminders, Insight alerts, service messages, and optional engagement notifications.
- Apply plan limits, protect the service, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
- Comply with lawful requests and enforce our Terms and Conditions.
AI processing and service providers
Dream content and relevant conversation context may be sent to our contracted AI-processing provider to generate interpretations and responses. We also use service providers for Google authentication, cloud database and hosting infrastructure, file storage, and Firebase push notifications. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to Dreamora and are governed by their own security and privacy obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your dream content with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Notifications and device permissions
With your permission, Dreamora sends push notifications about reminders, completed Insights, and app engagement. You can change Dreamora notification preferences in the app and can disable permission in Android settings. Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to capture or select profile media or another supported upload.
Storage, security, and retention
We use HTTPS in transit, authenticated API access, restricted server credentials, and secure device storage for the app access token. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we process.
We generally keep account data while your account is active or as needed to provide Dreamora. When a verified deletion request is completed, we delete or de-identify associated account data from active systems within 30 days. Limited copies may remain in protected backups for up to 90 additional days, or longer where retention is required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law.
Your choices and rights
You can review or update many profile fields and notification choices inside Dreamora. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, object to, restrict, or delete personal information. Children's privacy
Dreamora is not directed to children under 13, and the profile flow does not accept an age below 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
International processing
Our providers and infrastructure may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for these transfers.
Policy updates
We may update this policy when Dreamora, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised date on this page and provide additional notice when a change materially affects your rights.
